Through the centuries, in his own need for cognition, man has been confronting gradually, with new view of nature, and in certain periods of his progress he has been accepting new conceptions - new scientific paradigms. In last decades, fractal geometry and “chaos theory “ development, has made it possible for us to observe reality on completely new way. We are not satisfy any more with

classic mathematics, which is based on straight line and shows complete uselessness when we want to describe trees, rivers, clouds, lightning.. Now is created new multidiscipline science, which researches complexity in extensive signification. Allied with extraordinary possibilities of computers, it helps us to understand how nature, on amazing way, creates 100 m high tree from such little seed. How one completely tenuous influence, such as spread of butterfly wings, can so much intensify, to completely change weather tomorrow. However, this time we can forget scientific aspects of fractals. Winner of the Nobel prize, Richard Feynman once said: "In carafe of vine is all physics... and molecules, and viscosity, and refraction of light... But we can drink that vine and forget all of it!" Alike, I suggest to forget about all scientific implications of fractal geometry and let us enjoy in visual – beauty and aesthetic of specialy designed fractal objects by Milan Dobrojevic. He shows us how he turned his PC into graphical laboratory, which can experimentize with chaos and produce these magic pictures. It’s hard to believe in fact, that they are based on simple algebraic terms. After all, behind those terms, is hiding one sophisticated knowledge about imaginary and complexity numbers, processes of recursive iterations, but first of all, one strong motivation for experimentation  and creation of new art dimensions.

If impression lies in the eye of beholder, than this is the place. Not only that complete experience of art hidden on this site,  depends solely on you, but it also depends on moment you chose to visit fractals. Sometimes it feels like they are watching you and waiting  for you to recognize them. To enjoy utter liberty that fractal-observing provides, you do not have to pay any attention to it’s

name, because name itself was chosen in certain moment and it is only a reflection of specific artist’s state of mind, chosen among many others (artistic principle of indefiniteness). Why do I think, excuse me, why I am convinced that fractals you have enjoyed or getting ready to enjoy are art? Certainly it’s not only because I was personally convinced in artist’s great effort and enthusiasm (bordering with fanatism) during creation of this site. We all know talent is necessary but not enough reason for success. Main argument lies in the fact that real art has the power to make you think about it, unlike kitch.It is hard to believe that we are watching mathematics formula or a diagram. I shouldn’t even speak about extraordinary impression, that with a lot of skill and a bit of luck, fractal can show the room you are sitting in.

From my point of view, I would rather speak about the artist then only about fractals. There are people who have been multiple talented , but we all know they are rare. Author of this site is one of them. His art was his companion from youth, but Milan finds no satisfaction in creating only fractals. He prooved himself in various art disciplines, such as painting, design, music, carving... but we all

know  how hard it is for such an artist to find his true call. Fortunately, this man tamed his talent and focused it on fractal art. I look forward for following years, when we would finaly have the chance to realy enjoy the work of Milan Dobrojevic.

Virtual gallery of miracles opened the door! For the first time in this region we see fractals- a place where maths meet art in a space of pure, unique beauty. It is hard to decide which are  prettier- those who pulse with DJ rhythms and , at the same time, remind us on hippy dreams or those elegant, minimalistic, like we see in Japanese paintings. M.D.’s fractals have it all- idea, inspiration, seductiveness

and fantastic possibility for everyone who wants to find a peace of charming chaos... describe trees, rivers because fractals are chaos caught in that very place where sense becomes it’s opposite. I vote for luxurious, rich, on the verge of bearable colorful fractals, such as ’Mathematics Flower’, ’Wooden Intervals’ or ’Kaleidoscope’, which are, I believe, real representatives of  new art-fractal art. Anyone who likes magic, will certainly enjoy in overview of a theme gallery - ’Magic Blue Formula’. Those who seek for black and white rhythm are invited for a walk through ’Central Essence’. We should congratulate the artist-not only on courage to do art in Serbia, but he dares to make something completely new and almost unknown on our art scene. It’s original Chaos.

When I first had met with Milan’s work, it has opened to me one totally new aspect of perception, new horizon. When he has suggested me to work together on practical use of fractals on materials for clothes, I was delighted. After I have started to elaborat the idea, I realized how complex that field is. I was terrified with so many possibilities that provide us just one pattern. Actually,

one fractal gives us a new fractal possibility for its use. Beside variety of forms which gives us fashion clothing design, fractal open schosen among new possibilities in textile design industry. This is a totally new and amazing experience for me. When Milan suggested me to design two dresses for the opening night of exhibition, it was really hard for me to decide which two fractals to choose, and how to make a dress from eternal fractal. Since mathematics determinates fractals, I let mathematics, geometry to define dress form. Each part of each dress is geometric figure, and the most frequent is rectangle. I have wanted to show that use of fractals on clothing is not only interesting to look at, than also to wear it, so I used cotton. But, this is only a beginning, and possibilities are countless.

His artwork varies from minimalism, to psychedelic, to geometric patterns! He lives as a professional fractal artist, whose art has been featured in galleries, on billboards, trucks, fashion etc... He is an inspiration to all aspiring fractal artists.
